Dear all Darmasiswa awardees, 

On behalf of the Ministry of National Education, Republic of Indonesia would like to say CONGRATULATION for all of you who are accepted in Darmasiswa Scholarship Program academic year 2011/2012.

Here the next steps to do:

• Confirm your participation to Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General in the residence where you applied to at the latest of June 20th, 2011. If until the time limit is no confirmation, then the prospective participant otherwise resign.
• Participants have to arrive in Indonesia on 19 to 21 September 2011 except for participants who are accepted in University of Indonesia (UI), are required to come earlier on 29 to 31 July 2011 due to the reasons:
  • Placement test will be held on August 1, 2011.
  • Classes will be began on August 8, 2011.
• The Darmasiswa Orientation will be held on September 22 to 24, 2011 in Jakarta.
• Participants MUST use the Social-Cultural Visit Visa (VKSB) and are prohibited to use Tourist Visa or On-Arrival Visa.
• To facilitate pick-up arrangement at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, the arrival schedule along with the flight itinerary must be informed to the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General in the country of residence or the Ministry of National Education two weeks prior to your departure to Indonesia.
• Participants are required not to carry too much / heavy things  to avoid difficulties when traveling to the local area (place of study).
• Participants are expected to bring “International Insurance” for the type of coverage “All Risk” during study in Indonesia. Ministry of National Education does not provide insurance facilities.
• Participants also required to make a statement letter provided by the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General in the country of residence. Once completed and signed by the participants, this letter should be sent to MoNE by fax (021) 5724707, 5738181 or email to: darmasiswa_kln@yahoo.com or carried out by participants when arrival in Jakarta.
