I. Diplomatic Visa

Diplomatic Visa is given to foreign citizens bearing diplomatic passports, for the conduct of diplomatic assignment in Indonesia.

Requests for Diplomatic Visa must be submitted via an Indonesian diplomatic mission abroad by filling out the appropriate registration forms and enclosing:

  1. Completed visa application form http://www.indonesia.cz/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/VISA-FORM-Diplomatic3.pdf
  2. Two 3,5 x 4,5cm colour photographs of the passport bearer.
  3. The original diplomatic passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of submission.
  4. A diplomatic note confirming the person′s diplomatic assignment.

Holder of diplomatic passport of Czech and some countries may not require visa to visit Indonesia. Please check the following website link for further information: information on visa exemption for diplomatic and service passport.

II. Service Visa / Official Visa

Service Visa is given to foreign citizen(s) bearing service passport(s), on assignment to Indonesia for non-diplomatic purposes.

Requests for Service Visa must be submitted through an Indonesian diplomatic mission abroad by filling out the appropriate registration forms and enclosing:

  1. Completed visa application form http://www.indonesia.cz/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/VISA-FORM-Diplomatic3.pdf
  2. Two 3,5 x 4,5cm color photographs of the passport bearer.
  3. The original passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of submission.
  4. A diplomatic note confirming the person′s assignment as non-diplomatic in nature.

III. Visit Visa

Visit Visa is given to foreign nationals who visit Indonesian territory for the purposes of official visit, education, social-cultural, tourism, business, family, or transit. If you visit Indonesia for maximum of 30 days and are subject to Visa Free, please do not apply this visa. Check the Visa Free http://www.indonesia.cz/consularvisa-service/free-visa/

Requirements for Visit Visa:

  1. Completed and signed visa form http://www.indonesia.cz/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/VISA-FORM.pdf
  2. Passport validity must be at least 6 (six) months. Make sure there is at least 3 (three) available pages in the passport.
  3. Invitation letter from the party in Indonesia (if any).
  4. Bank statement, at least USD 1.500.
  5. Reservation of return air ticket or ticket to the another country.
  6. One 3,5 x 4,5cm color photographs of the passport bearer. White background.
  7. Visit Visa is given maximum 60 (sixty) day, and can be extended in the Indonesian Immigration office for maximum to 5 (five) times with each extension period of 30 (thirty) days.
  8. Holders of nationality other that Czech nationality must bring the original and copy of Czech resident card valid for at least 6 (six) months from the date of visa application.

 

IV. Limited Stay Visa (Visa Tinggal Terbatas/ Vitas)

Foreigners who plan to stay in a longer duration in Indonesia for purposes such as Working, Investing, Doing Research, Study, Being Dependant, Repatriation, Retirement, may choose this type of visa: Limited Stay Visa. This visa is valid from 6 months to 2 years.

To obtain this type of visa, your guarantor in Indonesia needs to apply in the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta, Indonesia. Once the visa is approved, the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta will send authorization letter that enables the Embassy  to grant you the visa.

V. Permanent Stay Permit

Foreigners who want to stay permanently in Indonesia can apply this permit, which is valid for 5 years. This permit can only be applied in the Immigration Office in Indonesia. Please refer to this link http://www.imigrasi.go.id/index.php/layanan-publik/izin-tinggal-tetap-itap-4#persyaratan

 

VI. Single and Multiple Re-Entry Permit 

A Single and Multiple Re-entry Permit is for those who are working in Indonesia and wishes to go out of Indonesia several times.

Please note: The re-entry permit is granted only upon the authorization from the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta, which the applicant has requested before leaving Indonesia to visit Czech Republic for a short visit.

 

VII. Visa Issuance Process and Procedures 

To obtain visa to Indonesia, the applicant should follow these procedures :

  1. Submit the application form enclosing with the complete documents based on the requirement to the Consular Section on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 09:00 – 12:00 (lodging the visa and legalization application) and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday on 13.00-15.00 (picking up the ready visa and legalization). No visa and legalization service will be given outside the aforementioned days or hours.
  2. The processing time of visa application which has fulfilled the requirements will be finished within 5 (five) working days.
  3.  Diplomatic and service passport holders for the purpose of posting in Indonesia must come in person to the Consular Section. Kindly make appointment first with consular section by phone.

IX. Important Notice

  1. Please be advised that according to the Vienna Convention 1961 on Diplomatic Relations and the Vienna Convention 1963 on Consular Relations, all Foreign Embassies hold the right to deny any applicant that deemed ineligible without disclosing the reason.
  2. To avoid any inconvenience, it is better for the applicant to submit the visa application within a reasonable time prior to the date of departure (no less than 10 business days) before departure date
  3. Other nationals without residence permit in Czech Republic must apply for a visa at Indonesian Embassies or Consulates in their home country.
  4. In every case, the Indonesian Embassy reserves the right to ask for additional documentation or to conduct a personal interview with the applicant.
  5. Please note that even someone is granted a visa, the admission at the airport remains the discretion of the immigration authorities in Indonesia.
